Your data: download or delete

You can download everything Wordado keeps about your account, and you can delete your account. Both are in Settings, under “Account”, and both need an internet connection.

Download your data

Press “Download your data (JSON)”. Your browser saves one file, named like wordado-export-2026-10-12.json. JSON is a text format that other programs can read.

What the file holds

The file holds what is stored with your account.

  • Your email address, the date of your account and your choice about news by email.
  • Your settings.
  • The words you set aside, and the problems you reported about a word.
  • The days that counted toward your streak.
  • Every answer you gave, in order.

News by email

On the same page a switch turns news about Wordado by email on or off. It is off unless you chose it. Every news email also has a link that stops it.

Notices about the service itself, such as a change to the terms, are sent either way.

Delete your account

Press “Delete your account”, tick “I understand that my progress is deleted for good” and press “Delete my account”.

Your account, every answer and every setting are deleted at once, from Wordado’s servers and from this device. You are signed out on your other devices too. This cannot be undone.

Tip: An account that is not signed in to for 24 months is deleted as well.
