These terms apply when you use Wordado: the website at wordado.com and the app at app.wordado.com. Wordado is provided by Yordan Mihaylov, 5 Abanos Str, 1616 Sofia, Bulgaria (“we”).
Using Wordado
You may use Wordado to learn for yourself. If you create an account, you must be old enough to agree to the processing of your data where you live; the app asks for your age when you sign up.
Your account
You sign in with your email address, so keep access to it safe. You can delete your Wordado account at any time in the app’s settings, and download your data before you do. If you have not signed in for more than 24 months, we may delete your account together with its learning history.
Free use
Wordado is free to use. If we ever offer paid extras, they will be optional, and these terms will say how they work before you can buy them.
The content
The word lists, translations, examples and audio belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may use them to learn in Wordado. You may not copy them out of the app to publish or sell them, extract them automatically, circumvent the service’s limits, or share your account with others. The sources we build on are listed under Credits.
Mistakes and reports
We work hard on the word lists, but they may contain mistakes. You can report a mistake from any card, and we correct what is wrong.
Availability
We aim to keep Wordado available and your progress safe, but we cannot promise that the service will never be interrupted. Progress you make offline stays on your device until it can be synced.
What you send us
When you report a mistake or send feedback, you let us use what you wrote to improve Wordado, free of charge and without naming you. Send only what you are allowed to share.
Ending
You can stop using Wordado at any time, and delete your account in the app’s settings.
Wordado is a free service, and we make no commitment to keep it running for any length of time. We may change, limit or stop the service altogether at any time, at our discretion. If we stop it, we will tell you in the app with reasonable notice so you can download your data; after that, accounts and data are deleted. We owe no compensation for changing or stopping the service, except where the law does not allow this to be excluded.
We may close an account that breaks these terms, for example by copying the content out of the app or by abusing the service; we tell you by email when we can.
Liability
Wordado is a free service and is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it is always available or free of errors, or that it will lead to any particular result in your learning. The content is learning material, not advice; how you use it is your decision and your responsibility.
You are responsible for the device you use Wordado on, for the security of your account and of the email you sign in with, and for everything done through your account. We do not guarantee that your progress is kept; you can download it at any time from the settings.
We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits, loss of data or progress, or interruption of the service.
We are liable without limit only for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only if we broke an obligation that the contract depends on, and then only for the loss that was foreseeable when the contract was made. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Law and disputes
Bulgarian law applies to these terms. If you live in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection of the rules of your country that cannot be waived by agreement, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country where its law allows it. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board. These terms are published in Bulgarian, English, German and Spanish. If the versions differ, the Bulgarian one prevails.
Changes
We may change these terms when the law changes, when the security of the service requires it, or when we develop and change Wordado. We will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before a change that affects you takes effect; when the law or security forces a change, the notice may be shorter. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect. If you keep using Wordado after that, the new terms apply to you.
