How many words a day

You decide how much you study. The settings are in Settings, under “Studying”. Each change is saved at once.

New words a day

Wordado starts with 10 new words a day. Choose any number from 0 to 30. With 0 you only review the words you have started.

Tip: Every new word brings reviews in the days after it. If the reviews become too many, lower this number for a while.

Reviews a day, at most

This is the most reviews Wordado gives you in a day. It starts at 100. When more reviews are waiting than the limit, new words wait until you have caught up.

How firmly to remember

This sets how often words come back.

  • Relaxed: fewer reviews, and you forget a little more.
  • Standard: the balance most learners want. Wordado starts with it.
  • Intensive: more reviews, and you forget less.

Again, Hard, Good, Easy

A daily goal

Switch on “Set a daily goal” and choose a number of answers a day. A day then also counts toward your streak once you reach that number.

Progress and streak

Audio and speed

Three switches are on at the start. “Play audio, and include listening exercises” gives you sound and listening questions. “Count slow answers as ‘hard’” grades a slow right answer as Hard. “Continue automatically after a right answer” shows the next question by itself; this one is kept for each device.
